I tapped my mind. There was movement, at first it was minimal and then multiple. I tried to hide them, the demons. I knew they were there but I decided to let them out all the same.
You see, it meant my freedom. But, to everyone else, enslavement.
There would be a long and dark period for humanity that I had done everything I could to store, to bottle up. Now, they would feel my pain. Every bloody second of it.
The years of negativity, self deprivation, pounding at my confidence, would now become the violation of the millions whom had turned a blind eye to my inner savagery. They couldn’t have cared any less. I was dirt to them.
You could say I’d bred and neutered this filth that now spreads through the night, intercepting the dream’s of the people and tearing at the sweetness they wished to bathe in. Family, neighbours, and passers by would hear their screams of torment. I would often walk the rain slicked streets to soak up all their misery. Oh how I developed a greed for it.
After a few months, they were no longer people they were my slaves - the new slaves. About they wondered with no direction other than moving from land-to-land and enjoying the darker side of blood and sex. I would often cross paths with people openly fucking on sidewalks, in parked cars, and in arcades. For a time I enjoyed it as I knew it was all for me. A show of pleasure in creating pleasure.
Humanity ebbed away... Did I care?
The longer I wandered the world, with no weight on these now broad shoulders, I began feeling. It sounds crazy, I know, but this once angst torn figure whom sits before you telling this tale began to... feel. I’d often walk through forests and allow the fauna to feel my naked skin. The green bled through my veins.
No life was here except wild and all was as inquisitive about me as I was of it. My guard was failing. What did this mean?
After allowing this new sensation to flood my biomass I realised I could now generate something else from my mind and deliver it to the world: Love. Strange, this feeling of warmth, but intoxicating.
If you were to ask me if I liked I would say yes. But if you were to ask me if I would use it to return the world to how it was...
As I watched like the Shepard as my slaves walked across the graves before me, in this mist enshrined yard of the dead, I pondered how happy they were. Roaming and using their primitive desires on each other. Tearing at flesh, the spilling of insides on the dirt, and the penetration of a naked and lifeless creature - I was thus torn as to what was to be of them.
For now, all I wanted was to watch. To watch them play as they played for me everyday, with hunger and passion. So, let the BloodRave commence and let’s worry about tomorrow another day.
