©ough©ool Neoslave get better & better. This is by far my favorite Neoslave album to date, probably due to it sounding like a goth/industrial mix with not so much metal. I do love synth metal, but variety is the spice of life, so mutations & evolution piques my interest. The icing to this killer album are the giant, warbling, moody synths laced with stunning vocals on most tracks
Reminds me of hearing Orgy for the first time...

Follow your line, back to the time when everything was sublime. Friends and pleasant times. Easy days of enjoyment, days of no care for the employment, the money was always there... but where was the payoff for the hard work? Everything fell into place... No changes were needed, though it left a bad taste.

Days followed days, no bother, as if you could view yourself in plays at a theatre. Robotic, metronomic, and you know that now. But at least you were in control, you were the lead role...

So why not stay in the middle, why rock the boat? You were on a lake that was as straight as the line of the horizon, but there was something else you had your eyes on... the water was now a mirror. Bringing you back.

In the calm, you ran your palm through the water as not only saw yourself but felt yourself... this wasn’t the way. No curves, no climbs, no ripples, no rhythms. Baring down on your outer shell the reflection provided an intersection... Stay moving forward, continuing to an end with sour satisfaction, or take a dive to the other side for a wild ride that could burn as fast as the movement of light?

The former felt safe, the latter already felt like you’d made an improvement. Your death would reveal the life you never knew. Raise your hand, point your fingers like a gun and point it at your liquid projection... pull the trigger and blow a hole clean through... let the fluid flow down the path you know to be righteous.

Fresh and new, the mirror of you is now on view. A new light blazes through the night. You’re washed with a freshness a baptism couldn’t produce, your heads held high just beneath a new blue sky. All is what it should’ve been, all is what may never have been. Now you can see. Now everyone can see...

You only had to let go, to truly find hope that isn’t a daydream taking place in a city so numbingly serene. Warmth spreads through the cold like a snake through the reeds, and feel it feet to knees to the lungs that breath.
